L.A. W17 FC Defeats UFA Los Angeles, 5-0, Has Sights Set On Promotion

W17 FC Caps Tremendous Weekend For Club With Dominant Championship Division Win

June 4, 2017 -- Los Angeles - L.A. W17 FC returned to action for the first time in two weeks but showed no rust.

L.A. W17 FC (9-2-1 overall) has won seven consecutive games after a 5-0 victory on Sunday night over United Football Academy Los Angeles in a United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Championship Division Western Conference game at Lake Forest Sports Complex.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "It's another three points in the bag as we continue to march toward promotion. The squad hasn't played a match in more than 10 days so I expected to see more rust, but they were fit and ready to go. I think we found a lot of joy out there tonight. This is a good group that's focused on the task at hand, which is to take maximum points every time we hit the pitch and earn promotion in the UPSL."

The club next plays at Fontana Inter in a UPSL Championship Division game at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex (6198 Citrus Ave., Fontana, CA 92336) at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.
