L.A. Wolves FC Among Four Teams for UPSL's Spring Championship Semifinal Round

Wolves FC Plays Strikers FC at 7:30 p.m. PT at SilverLakes Sports Complex in Norco

July 29, 2017 - Norco, Calif. - The semifinal round is set.

Top-seeded L.A. Wolves FC plays Strikers FC South Coast, and California Victory FC plays Boise FC in the semifinal round of the UPSL Spring Playoff Championship at SilverLakes Sports Complex (5555 Hamner Ave., Norco, CA 92880) at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

United Premier Soccer League President Leonel Lopez said, "It was a good quarterfinals with good competition but it'll be tough for any team to make it the Final. These last four teams are the best in the UPSL's Spring Season, and it should be a highly competitive semifinals. Good luck to each of the teams."

L.A. Wolves FC vs. Strikers FC South Coast

L.A. Wolves FC (18-1-0), the UPSL Supporters’ Shield Trophy winners with 48 points for the 2017 Spring Season, are coached by U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame inductee Eric Wynalda. Wolves FC won the USASA Region IV title to advance to the USASA National Cup in August. The club defeated PSC Football Club, 5-0, in a Pro Premier Division Western Conference semifinal playoff game on Sunday, July 16, and beat Colorado Rush, 6-0, in a UPSL Spring Playoff Championship quarterfinal round game on Saturday, July 29.

Strikers FC South Coast (14-2-2) finished second in the Pro Premier Division Western Conference. The Huntington Beach, Calif.-based club defeated La Maquina FC, 2-1, in a conference semifinal playoff game on Saturday, July 15, and edged Real Zamora FC, 6-5 in a shootout, in a UPSL Spring Playoff Championship quarterfinal round game on Saturday, July 29.
