L.A. Wolves FC Begins UPSL Spring Season vs. Strikers FC South Coast

Defending Western Champions Open With First of Three Consecutive Road Games

March 2, 2017 -- Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves is proud to announce it begins the UPSL 2017 Spring Season this Saturday night.

The club travels to play Strikers FC South Coast, the 2016 UPSL Spring Season champions, at Lake Forest Sports Park (28000 Rancho Pkwy, Lake Forest, CA 92630), at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 4.

L.A. Wolves FC Sporting Director Michael Collins said, "It's great to start another UPSL season as the Wolves are on the great things. Playing at Strikers FC South Coast is always a difficult task, but we've been together for a while now and we've done a lot to prepare for 2017. We have a talented team that continues to grow. We have some skilled additions to go with our very accomplished core group, and many players who are ready to step up when called. It's an exciting time to be a part of L.A. Wolves FC, and we thank our sponsors and supporters as we start the Spring Season."

L.A. Wolves FC

L.A. Wolves FC are an American Soccer club based in Los Angeles, California. We are named after the Los Angeles Wolves, who played in the United Soccer Association in 1967 and the North American Soccer League in 1968.

L.A. Wolves FC are a charter member for the UPSL (United Premier Soccer League) and compete in the Western Division, posting an 18-0-0 record for the 2016 Fall Season. The club also manages a reserve squad and oversees L.A. Wolves FC Youth Soccer Program.

In addition, L.A. Wolves FC participates in the qualifying round for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
