L.A. Wolves FC Blows Past Oregon's PSU FC At USASA Regionals
Wolves FC Posts Its Largest Single-Game Goal Total of 2017 in Lopsided Victory

June 2, 2017 -- Norco (Calif.) -- L.A. Wolves FC is off to a good start.
Playing with renewed vigor after just its second loss of the calendar year, L.A. Wolves FC scored in bunches in 13-0 victory over PSU FC or Oregon in a USASA Region IV Quarterfinal Round match on Friday night at SilverLakes Sports Complex in Norco.
L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "What a victory that was! It was good to get Wednesday's loss (to Orange County SC in a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Third Round match) behind us and start to look forward to what is still ahead. It's going to be a long weekend, but we want to make it a good one by holding the USASA Region IV champions trophy at the end."
The club continues play at the tournament tomorrow against FC Long Beach (9 a.m.) and Club Union Jerez (4 p.m.). The Region IV championship game is set for 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 4. The winner advances to the USASA National Cup in August.
