Wolves FC Begins Defense Of Season Title With Shutout Victory At Chaminade HS

September 16, 2017 - Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC is off to a solid start.

Opening defense of its Spring Season league title, L.A. Wolves FC defeated Sporting San Fernando, 1-0, in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Pro Premier Division Western Conference Fall Season opener on Saturday night at Chaminade High School.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "This is a good start for this group. We wanted to make a statement in the first game and I think that statement is 'We won't back down.' We're going to go after teams, play attacking soccer and let the chips fall where they may."

The club's next game is in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup qualifying against Bellflower (Calif.)-based Real Sociedad Royals at John Anson Ford Park (8000 Park Ln., Bell Gardens, CA 90201) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.
