L.A. Wolves FC Looking To Book Spot In State Cup Final With Win Over Moreno Valley FC
Postponement and a Location Change Can't STOP This All-UPSL STATE CUP Matchup

May 22, 2017 -- Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC can book its ticket to a tournament final for the first time in 2017.
Despite postponement and a location change, L.A. Wolves FC will play Moreno Valley Futbol Club in a CalSouth Adult State Cup 2017 semifinal round game at Azusa Pacific University's Cougar Soccer Complex (635 E. Foothill Blvd., Azusa, CA 91702) at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 25.
L.A. Wolves FC defeated San Pedro Monsters, 4-1, in a CalSouth Adult State Cup quarterfinal in April, and had been set to play Moreno Valley FC on Sunday, May 7, at SilverLakes Sports Complex until a lightning storm forced the game to be rescheduled.
Unable to find a new date at SilverLakes, the game was moved to Cougar Sports Complex where Wolves FC has hosted and won its last to Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament games.
L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "We had the option to play the game at Cougar Soccer Complex so we jumped at the opportunity. It's a suitable facility and we've had recent success there, but we expect an very tough match against Moreno Valley FC. They've proven to be one of the better UPSL clubs and are a regular contender at this tournament now. We'll need to be ready for anything."
The club is currently fourth in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL)Pro Premier Division Western Conference and next plays Corinthians USA on either Saturday, May 27 or Sunday, May 28. Site and time to be announced.
