Wolves FC Unable To Find A Goal Despite Playing Up A Man In The Second Half

August 4, 2017 - Glendale, Wisc. - L.A. Wolves FC could not break through.

Despite playing up a man in the second half, L.A. Wolves FC lost, 1-0, to Lansdowne Bhoys FC on Friday night in the semifinal round of the U.S. Amateur Cup at Heartland Value Fund Stadium.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "“It's disappointing. We had a man advantage but we couldn't capitalize. We're a good team and we're better than we showed. We needed more direct attacking play and it wasn't there. Lansdowne Bhoys FC made it too congested through the middle and took away every opportunity. We should have taken had more from this opportunity, but congratulations to Lansdowne Bhoys FC for grinding away until the final whistle. 

It's the first loss for the club since May 31.

L.A. Wolves FC next plays St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Kickers FC in the U.S. Amateur Cup Third-Place Game at Heartland Value Fund Stadium (700 W. Lexington Blvd., Glendale, WI 53217) at 5:30 p.m. CT on Saturday night.
