L.A. Wolves FC's Fall 2017 Season Ends In 4-1 Playoff Loss To Santa Ana Winds FC

It Was The Fourth Consecutive Season Wolves FC Had Qualified For UPSL Playoffs

January 6, 2018 - Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC may have run up against a serious challenger for the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Fall Season title.

Unable to keep pace with Santa Ana Winds FC for the second time this season, L.A. Wolves FC season is over after a 4-1 loss on Saturday night in a UPSL Pro Premier Division Western Conference Playoff game at Lake Forest Sports Park.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "Santa Ana Winds FC is a very good side and they deserve the credit for the group Owner Leonel Lopez has put together this season. They turn defense into attack very quickly, and will be a force to be reckoned with going forward in the UPSL National Playoffs. We didn't play as well as we wanted to in this game, or this season, and we will be looking to make changes ahead of the Spring but in all I think we defended our title well. The players represented L.A. Wolves FC well, and now it's important to get it right this offseason."

The UPSL Spring 2017 Season National Champions, L.A. Wolves FC (7-3-3) finished sixth in Pro Premier Division Western Conference during the Fall Season.
