L.A. Wolves FC Scores Surprise 6-0 Victory Over Colorado Rush in UPSL Quarterfinals

Wolves FC Moves On To Semifinal TONIGHT at 7:30 p.m. at SilverLakes in NORCO, Calif.

July 29, 2017 -- Norco, Calif. - L.A. Wolves FC did not expect such a lopsided result to open the weekend.

With three goals in each half, L.A. Wolves FC (18-1-0 overall) defeated Colorado Rush, 6-0, in a United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Spring Playoff Championship quarterfinal round game on Saturday morning SilverLakes Sports Park.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "Good performance from the guys. They battled a little bit of heat and scored the first one. The rest flowed in after that, and we beat their press in the second half for a few more. The good thing is we're taking our shots and we're finishing the ones we have to finish. Not really what we thought would happen but we'll take it and now we move on. We need to recover, get fluids, get rest and be ready for tonight because it's going to be hard on everybody."

L.A. Wolves FC moves on to play in a semifinal round game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night, with the winner advancing to the UPSL Spring Championship Final at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 30 at SilverLakes.
