L.A. Wolves FC Takes On Orange County FC For First Time Since USOC 3rd Round

Wolves FC Looking to Avenge Loss TO OCFC in 2017 USOC 3rd Round Game

October 4, 2017 - Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC has had this game circled on the calendar for a while now.

Playing for the first time since a 1-0 loss in the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Third Round, Wolves FC plays Orange County FC 2 in a United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Pro Premier Division Western Conference game at Lake Forest Sport Park (28000 Rancho Pkwy, Lake Forest, CA 92630) at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "Just another game on the calendar, but one we circled as an opportunity to get a little respect back. OUr group is playing better every time it gets 90 minutes under its belt, and we want another good performance vs a very talented OCFC team that send us home in the U.S. Open Cup earlier this year."

Wolves FC, the UPSL 2017 Spring Season champions, lost to Orange County FC, 1-0, on May 31. The defeat ended Wolves FC's longest run in three U.S. Open Cup tournament appearances.
