L.A. Wolves FC Travels Well, Secures 4-0 Victory at San Diego Zest FC

Wolves FC Gets Four Goals In Second Half Of UPSL Western Conference Game in San Diego

October 1, 2017 - Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC used the first 45 minutes to warm up before getting in the scoring mood.

With four goals in the second half, L.A. Wolves FC defeated San Diego Zest FC, 2-0, in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Pro Premier Division Western Conference Fall Season game on Sunday at James Madison High School.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "We'd like to have had a stronger start early in the match, but four goals over the last 45 is a good return. We'll take the win and continue to work toward our goals this fall, which include qualifying for our third Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and testing new players against the rigors of playing in the UPSL. This is a serious league and players need to perform week-in and week-out to be considered for the next U.S. Open Cup roster."

Dmitriy Zhuravlev got the scoring in the 49th minute, following by back-to-back goals from Bruno Sobreira (55' and 70'). Daniel Baumartner finished it off with another in the 83rd minute.

The club's next plays Orange County FC 2 at Lake Forest Sports Park (28000 Rancho Pkwy, Lake Forest, CA 92630) at 8 p.m. Saturday night.
