L.A. Wolves FC Takes On La Maquina FC in Key Conference Game

Wolves FC (4-0-0) Travels to Play O.C. POWER in First Pro Premier Division Matchup

March 29, 2017 - Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC might boast the league's best record, but the club will take nothing for granted against this weekend's opponent. 

Wolves FC plays United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) stalwart La Maquina FC at Santa Ana Stadium (602 N. Flower St., Santa Ana, CA 92703), at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 1.

L.A. Wolves FC Sporting Director Michael Collins said, "La Maquina FC is a game we're always going to circle on the calendar. They're a skilled and disciplined opponent, and they've beaten us before. They have our attention and so it's been a good week of training. The team is fit and ready for anything right now. The current run of form has us at the top of the table the table but we're going to have to fight to stay there. This game will test that spirit." 

Chuck Pitts had another three-goal performance as the club moved to 4-0-0 with a 4-0 win over PSC Football Club on Sunday, March 26. It was Wolves FC's only home game so far this season.

L.A. Wolves FC are an American Soccer club based in Los Angeles, California. We are named after the Los Angeles Wolves, who played in the United Soccer Association in 1967 and the North American Soccer League in 1968.

L.A. Wolves FC are a charter member for the UPSL (United Premier Soccer League) and compete in the Western Division, posting an 16-0-0 record for the 2016 Fall Season. The club also manages L.A. W17 FC of the UPSL's Championship Division, and oversees L.A. Wolves FC Youth Soccer Program.

In addition, L.A. Wolves FC participates in the qualifying round for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
