L.A. Wolves FC Will Play L.A. Highlanders FC For First Time

Wolves FC Host UPSL Western Conference Expansion Side at Lake Forest Sport Complex 

June 8, 2017 - Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC welcomes a return to league play on Sunday.

Wolves FC plays L.A. Highlanders FC in a United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Pro Premier Division at Lake Forest Sports Complex (28000 Rancho Pkwy, Lake Forest, CA 92630) at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 11.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "We've had so many high-intensity games lately that I think the squad will really benefit from it in our remaining UPSL Spring Season games. On the flip side, our recent success means teams will be gunning for us. It's really something of a double-edged sword, so we need to stick together, keep our heads on straight and make sure we qualify for the playoffs. Three points and a playoff spot are on the line every time we play a UPSL fixture, and even though we expect a tough game from L.A. Highlanders FC our expectations are high and want to take everything from this matchup."

Wolves FC (10-1-0) defeated Denver, Colo.'s Club Union Jerez, 3-0, in a USASA Region IV Championship Game on Sunday, June 4. The club advances to the USASA National Cup with the victory.
