L.A. Wolves FC Will Play Sporting San Fernando For First Time

Wolves FC Host UPSL Western Conference Expansion Side at Lake Forest Sport Complex 

May 11, 2017 - Los Angeles - L.A. Wolves FC relishes the opportunity to play an opponent for the first time.

Wolves FC plays Sporting San Fernando in a United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Pro Premier Division at Lake Forest Sports Complex (28000 Rancho Pkwy, Lake Forest, CA 92630) at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 13.

L.A. Wolves FC President Yan Skwara said, "Our defense has really set us a part this season. We're getting solid contributions from a number of players who really understand the concepts of team defending and defensive accountability. We lead the UPSL is fewest goals against and there's no reason why we shouldn't have another good game against Sporting San Fernando. We have a lock-down defensive midfielder, strong center backs and wingers with pace. Three points and a playoff spot are on the line every time we play a UPSL fixture, and we expect both at the end of the day."

Wolves FC (7-1-0) defeated San Diego Zest FC, 4-2, in a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match on Wednesday, May 10. The club most recently defeated Newhall Premier FC, 4-1, in its last UPSL match on Saturday, May 6.
